SEARCH FOR AN ITEMback to top of page

Click on Catalog from any page of our website or use the Catalog search box on our homepage.

Click on Log In from the menu at the top of the screen.
Enter your library card number and PIN (last four digits of your phone number in your library record).
Click on Forgot Your PIN to have your PIN sent to your email address (just enter library card number - Alternate ID is not an option at this time).
If login doesn't work, call the library at 941-7072.

Search Everything or use the pull down arrow to limit the search to Movies, Overdrive eBooks, Children's Materials, Music, Young Adult (teen), or Large Print collection.
Note: To search for OverDrive eBooks, we recommend that you use the OverDrive catalog instead so that you can see additional titles available only to Briarcliff Manor patrons. You can access the OverDrive catalog from: www.briarcliffmanorlibrary.org/eBooks.html.

Search All Fields and include words from the title and author's last name for best results (e.g. honeymoon patterson). In some cases you may wish to use the pull down arrow to search by Title, Author, Keyword in Author headings, Subject, Keyword in Subject headings or ISBN. Note: If you get too many results, put quotation marks around each separate search word and try your search again.

Type your search terms and click on: Search.

SEARCH RESULTSback to top of page

You will find a menu to Limit Search Results to the left of your search results. Note: specific parameters will depend on the title being searched. You may limit your search results to Only Show Available items (where there are copies on the shelf) and by including and excluding:

  • Material type (e.g. DVD)
  • Author
  • Publication Date (enter a year range below the graph or drag the scroll bar located below the graph)
