HELPFUL HINTS
To Renew Items by Phone, Call Telecirc 674 - 4169 (line open 24 hours/have your barcode ready)

Click on: Catalog from any page of our website.
Login with library card number and PIN (last four digits of your phone number). If login doesn't work, call the library at 941-7072.
Use the pull down arrow to search by words or phrase, author, title, subject, series or periodical title.
Type in your search words (hint: for best results use title and author's last name in words or phrase – e.g., honeymoon patterson)
Select specific library's collection to search or ALL to search 38 WLS libraries (now including White Plains Public Library)
Click on: Search
Search results are listed chronologically by publication date.
Click on: Title of Book or Book Cover
for more information about the item, including which libraries own the item and its status, which will be shown under "location" (checked in/out, etc.)
Click on: Place Hold
To reserve a copy of the title
(Important to scroll down to see if there are separate volumes for title. If there are, you must select one before you can place the hold.)
Select a pickup location (the library where you would like to pick up the item)
Suspension start/end - only if you want to freeze your hold for a specific time period, otherwise leave blank
Click on: Place Hold - OK
(Note: A maximum of 20 holds are allowed per patron)
Click on: Catalog from any page of our website.
Login in with your library card number and PIN (last 4 digits of your phone number). If login doesn't work, call the library at 941-7072.
Click on: My Card & Renew Items
Click on: Review My Account
You will find:
Account Summary (shows outstanding bills)
Checkouts Materials currently out in your name and when they are due
Holds Items that you have requested
To cancel and Edit Holds select an item by clicking the box to the left of the item and then:
Click on Cancel Selected if item is no longer needed
Click on Suspend Selected to freeze a hold
Click on: Catalog from any page of our website.
Login in with your library card number and PIN (last 4 digits of your phone number). If login doesn't work, call the library at 941-7072.
Click on: change my PIN
Enter existing PIN
Enter new PIN and re-enter new PIN
Click on: change PIN - ok
Click on: Catalog from any page of our website.
Login in with your library card number and PIN (last 4 digits of your phone number). If login doesn't work, call the library at 941-7072.
Click on: My Card & Renew Items
Click on: Renew My Materials
Click on: box to select specific item to be renewed, and then
Click on: Renew Selected Items - ok… OR
Click on: Renew All - Renew Selected Items - ok
(Note: Items can only be renewed once and cannot be renewed if there are holds on the item.)
