Come by the library to sign The Pledge anytime between June 26 and August 21.

• The Pledge - agreement to read at least 1 book* purely for pleasure (this book CANNOT be required summer reading)



• Book Prizes - every time you finish reading a book (including required summer reading) come by the Library to talk about it briefly and select a free book to keep



• Raffle Prize - every time you come by the Library and chat about whatever you are reading - finished or not- you receive a raffle ticket, raffle drawing at the end of the summer for TBA prize

*"book" may be fiction, nonfiction, manga/graphic novel, or magazine

Print out an Activity Sheet, or pick it up at the library. If you complete one of the activities listed - and come by the library to tell us about it - you may select a free prize book to keep.

You give us a book review, we give you a coupon for free ice cream…

Every time you write a book review about a book that you have read and submit it to the library - you will receive a coupon for a free ice cream at the Pavilion snack bar. You must write about a book that you have read within the last year. Print out a Book Review Form, or pick it up at the library.

Create and learn new crafts this summer.

Read the Book - Watch the Movie — Monday, July 28 at 6:30 pm MILLIONS BY FRANK BOYCE COTTRELL All participants should read the book before the special night. We will watch the movie and chat about it all over snacks. registration required

Several board games will be provided by the library for friends and families to play in the Pavilion from 2pm - 4pm on the following Saturdays: July 19 & 26 and August 2 & 9
