The Third Annual TAB Writing Contest...is not just for writers anymore!  New Art Challenge!
open to Briarcliff Manor residents in grades 9 - 12 only.  3  grand prize winners.  $50 first prize.  $20 runner up.

Photography:
Like to take pictures? Submit your best photos. Don't be shy…just because you haven't taken a photography course doesn't mean you can't take a great picture. All photo media types are accepted. Submit digital entries to Amy Kaplan at abgkaplan@gmail.com. Photos that fit in the TAB Mailbox may be submitted anytime before the May 16, 2008 deadline. All photos being submitted in the TAB Mailbox should be secured in an envelope with your name and phone number or email address on the envelope only to ensure anonymity throughout the judging process. All other photos are to be submitted to the Briarcliff HS Library after school only during the week of May 12, 2008. Submissions are also accepted at the Briarcliff Manor Public Library – before submitting any large items, contact the Library so arrangements may be made.

Painting & Drawing:
Are you a brilliant artist? Show us by submitting your favorite drawing or painting. Paintings and drawings are to be submitted to the Briarcliff HS Library after school only during the week of May 12, 2008. Submissions are also accepted at the Briarcliff Manor Public Library – before submitting any large items, contact the Library so arrangements may be made. Please tape a piece of paper to the back of your submission indicating your name and phone number or email address. We will remove this identifer to ensure anonymity throughout the judging process.

Writing:
Witty with your words? Submit to us your best poems, song lyrics, short stories, essays or monologues. Max 2,000 words. Submit to the TAB Mailbox by no later than May 16, 2008. Submissions will also be accepted at the front desk of the Briarcliff Manor Public Library.


Members of TAB will determine the winners in each category. In consideration of fairness for applicants, all entries will be numbered with names removed throughout the evaluation process. Any indication or evidence of plagiarizing will automatically disquality your submission.
