2nd Annual TAB Writing Contest

First Prize: $50
Second Prize: $25 Third Prize: $15
  • open to high school students living or going to school in Briarcliff Manor, NY
  • not limited to one type of creative writing (submit poetry, short story, essay…)
  • max length 2, 000 words
  • submissions must be typed, with contact information provided
  • drop off entry with Library Staff at BMPL or in TAB mailbox at BHS Library
must be submitted for consideration by no later than April 13, 2007

Judges are select members of the Teen Advisory Board. Identities of submissions' authors will be hidden until the winners are decided. Winners will be announced, with prizes rewarded, at the last TAB event of the school year. (late May/early June - stay tuned for date) Winning entries will be published on this website. read 2006 TAB Writing Contest winners
