This event is hosted and created by the library's Teen Advisory Board. Stop in any time between 4:30 and 6 pm to walk the haunted hallways! This event is for preschoolers AND elementary school aged children....some hallways are not-so-spooky but haunts escalate for older kids looking for a serious scare!

LEGO LEAGUE GRADES 1 - 4 ONLY
(1st - 4th graders)
At each meeting, we will read aloud a different story and then participants will create whatever they wish with the Legos provided as inspired by the story that they heard. We will post an album with pictures of the creations for each meeting on the library's Facebook page, along with a picture of the cover of the book that was read for that meeting.

READING TO ROVER (Fall & Spring, Grades 1-5) GRADES 1 - 5 ONLY

Calling all dog lovers! Help a child to gain confidence in reading aloud and/or build excitement around reading! Registration is required. CASUAL CHESS CLUB, registration is required GRADES 3 - 6 ONLY
(3rd - 6th graders)
Get together with other kids who love to play every week and enjoy the game. No formal instruction will be given. Amy, the Children's Librarian, will teach the basics to children who have never played the game before. A teen "expert" is on hand with tips and challenges.

Watch the movie on the big screen in the Community Center (attached to the library). No registration is required. Everyone is welcome. Feel free to bring your own snacks to enjoy while you watch the film.
